A 200 Level student of the University of Ibadan identified as Anyanwu Kingsley has been expelled from the institution.
Anyanwu, it was said, insulted not only the vice chancellor of the institution but also other principal officers and high ranking personalities.
It was reported that Anyanwu made some comments on the Student Union page during a protest tagged #freemote. The comments were considered as abusive as it was directed against the VC.
According to various reports, UI is the 2nd school Anyanwu has been rusticated from, though it has been denied by the student in question.
One of his close friends who pleaded anonymity said Anyanwu is planning to challenge the decision made by the management of the University by appealing at the court of law in the next 14 days.
