Wife gives cheating husband beating of his life over 12-year affair

The wife of a property tycoon gave her a husband a beating outside their millionaire mansion after drunkenly berating him for a 12-year affair .

Jaginder Singh, 62, slapped company boss Narinder in the face and grabbed his hair as she railed at him for spending two nights a week with his long-term mistress - with whom he has two children.

During the row last Friday night, Mrs Singh was seen waving down passing motorists outside the couple's £1.4m house in Hale Barns, Cheshire, shouting "Help me, help me".

According to Daily Record, she then turned on her husband, also 62, saying: "You b***h, you f****** b***h, go back to your girl."

As Mr Singh tried to usher inside she grabbed his hair and slapped him in the face as their daughter confiscated a bottle of wine from her.

Mrs Singh then stumbled accidentally fell back and hit her head on a glass table. She appeared at Manchester Magistrates' Court yesterday and pleaded guilty to assault by beating.

The court heard how the couple - both prominent members of the local Sikh community - had been married for 43 years and had two grown up children and grandchildren.

But Mr Singh began an affair with another woman and 12 years ago fathered two children by her.

Prosecutor Ms Lynne Rogers said Mrs Singh had started drinking when she found about the affair, and that Mr Singh wanted the court to note his wife's "problems with alcohol".

"She [Mrs Singh] says she cannot remember what happened that night. She started drinking when she discovered that her husband was having an affair.
"They have been together for 43 years but 12 years ago he fathered two other children with this woman.Mr Singh now spends two nights a week with this woman and their two children and the rest of the time at home with his wife and their two grown up children and grandchildren."
Her husband - who was uninjured in the fracas - attended the hearing and said his wife's drinking had been "having a negative impact on the family."
Mrs Singh admitted assault by beating and was conditionally discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20.The couple left court together without comment.
Later at his his home Mr Singh said:
"We don't want to talk about this - my wife's life has already been ruined enough."
