Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has joined the Belgium national team's coaching staff as Roberto Martinez's assistant.
Thierry Henry had been working as coach of Arsenal's under-18 side before leaving last month after Arsene Wenger asked him to choose between the coaching role and his work as a TV pundit.
Speaking at a press conference, Belgium executive sports director Chris Van Puyvelde said: "Roberto Martínez' assistant coach will be Graeme Jones. Thierry Henry will be the second assistant coach."
Former France international wrote on his social media handle: "Honoured to be assistant coach @BelRedDevils. Thanks to Roberto Martinez & the Royal Belgian Football Association. Very excited. Can't wait."
Roberto Martinez replaced Marc Wilmots as the Belgium national team coach earlier this summer after a disastrous outing at the Euro tournament.
Henry will now work as an assistant to former Everton manager, Roberto Martinez in the Belgian national team set-up as the red devils will look to rebuild after a dismal performance at the Euro 2016.
According to reliable reports, Henry's new job will not stop his punditry role
