BUSTED! EFCC Nabs Governor Dickson's Man Trying to Bribe Them With N10m Cash

Bayelsa is one of the few states in Nigeria where men whose official salary is less than N200,000 per month will openly build a house worth Hundreds of Millions of Naira. They do it with impunity.

But in this era of anti-corruption, things are not the same anymore. The EFCC had sealed the home of Mr Apere Embelakpo, SSA on MDGs to Governor Seriake Dickson as well as a twin shopping complexes and offices situated at opposite Kpansia market in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state.

They are owned by the same man who is wanted by EFCC for embezzling over N1bn MDGs funds.

In a bid to kill the case as they usually do, a top ex-aid of Governor Dickson, Evarada was arrested by EFCC as he was trying to bribe their operative with N10m cash to bury the corruption case against the SSA.

Evarada is in custody while the said Mr Apere is on the run.
