Photo: Update on the woman stabbed on the cheek by her husband

If you missed it, read the initial story here. 32-year-old Fatuma is now scheduled to be airlifted to Nairobi for surgery at the Kenyatta National Hospital. Her husband Mohamed Deeq is in police custody and will be arraigned in court tomorrow. According to reports, the mother of four had a family dispute with her husband and out of rage, he stabbed her in the face.

Mohammed's brother reported the matter to the police who took action immediately by sending an ambulance to take her to Wajir General Hospital where doctors were unable to remove the knife because it has been logged too deep into the cheek bone.( Above is the Xray)
