Abdullahi Usman (AKA Kadiri) on Monday described how he served to pinpoint "a major man who goes to his homestead in Toyota Hilux van" who could be grabbed to give Sallah and wedding trusts to some of his companions.

Inevitably, the payoff of N5 million was paid to Datijo who as per Usman carried off the money.In their story, it was the second suspect Kato who carried Datijo and Falae on his business cruiser from the den to where he was in the end got by the Police.
Kato then again, demanded that he was not one of the guys as he was just contracted to transport the two on that night.
As per Mr. Abdullahi Garba who tended to the press for the benefit of the DSS, the suspects were grabbed in Lokoja.
He expressed that the abductors were unimportant culprits and that their activity was not spurred by any political or ethnic supposition put something aside for culpability.
