It’s been revealed by the Centre for Crisis Communication, that many
Boko Haram insurgents are exhausted with the continuous, non-stop
warfare against the Nigerian Army.
The Centre for Crisis Communication, serves as a buffer between the Federal Government and Boko Haram.
This disclosure was made on Wednesday, by the Executive Secretary for the CCC, Air Commodore Yusuf Anas (retd).
Anas, revealed that a message was sent to the CCC, by the Boko Haram insurgents, who clearly stated that they were tired of fighting and ready to end the insurgency.
He added that the Boko Haram members, who spoke with the CCC, did not request for monetary reward or compensation, as a condition for surrendering.
He said: “In fact, many of them said that they were simply tired of fighting and being fugitives in a war that they were deceived into joining.”
