Akpabio Cries From Hospital Bed: "I Will Rise Again"

This same man few months ago as the Governor of Akwa Ibom State commissioned a big hospital in the state and boasted that people will no longer need to travel abroad for medical attention again as the hospital he just completed with the state's money has everything to take care of everybody.

But after a small accident he has escaped to London for treatment. Naija politicians and fraud.

Barely six days after he was involved in a car accident in Abuja, Senator Godswill Akpabio has broken his silence from his hospital bed, where he is currently recuperating.

The former governor, who was on Monday, earlier rushed to the National Hospital, Abuja, for urgent attention, reportedly left for the United Kingdom aboard a private jet last Tuesday.

Speaking from his hospital bed, Akpabio said: “Though I'm down but not out, I will rise again... Thank you Nigerians for your prayers.”
