Megan Fox And Hubby Call It Quits After 11 Years Together And You Won't Believe Why.

Megan Fox and her husband of 5 years, Brian Austin Green, have separated after 11 years together a source now tells E! News.

The actors who began dating in 2004 and got married in 2010, reportedly decided to take some time apart "six months ago," according to a source who spoke to Us Weekly. An insider told the tabloid that "things had been rocky" between the actors, who met on the set of the ABC sitcom "Hope & Faith."

The parents of 2 young boys, Noah and Bodhi, who are 2 years old and 18 months respectively are still choosing to remain friends despite the end of their relationship. The source told US Weekly: "They're on friendly terms for the sake of the kids. They just want to do their own things." Similarly, a source tells People, "They will always love each other very much and are devoted to their kids. Anything could happen in the future, but for now they've decided it's best to take some time apart."

Megan and Brian have always been off and on as they got engaged in 2006, called it off in 2009, and got engaged a second time in 2010. Days after announcing their plans to marry, the two got married in Hawaii, their favorite vacation destination. In 2012, Megan gushed about marriage in a Cosmopolitan cover story. "We've had obstacles, and we've overcome them. I truly feel like he's my soul mate," she said of her husband. "I don't want to sound corny or cliché, but I do believe we are destined to live this part of our lives together." The next year, she told Marie Claire U.K., "We are tolerant of each other and we try to be patient with each other, and I don't try to turn him into me and he knows not to try to turn me into him." 

So, what went wrong in the relationship?

Apparently, "They fight about her career," a source tells Us Weekly. "He would prefer she focus on the family more than being obsessed with getting roles."

Many fans and feminists have already began bashing Brian insisting that a woman wanting to pursue a career is not enough reason to call off a marriage with 2 kids. TILB Readers, what do you think?
