"This is a complete let down & here is why.I bought it in 2010 and in 2012 the engine seized in it (while parked up for 4 days.....impossible right = 8th wonder of the world), In 2013 the gearbox went & there's been a knock on effect since.
"These are the parts that have been changed (so far):
"Engine / Gearbox / 2 x alternator's / 2 x fan belts / timing belt / 2 x catalytic converters / 4 x inner tie rod ends / 2 x ball joints / 1 cv boot / brake shoes & pads (front & back) DCI box & fuse box / 3 keys @ €280 each / fuel line & pump / .
"I put 2 new tyres on the front last weekend and found out the steering rack needs to be replaced & there I was thinking nothing else can break!!!(continue)
So now I have this heap of crap that needs more money (€300 for rack & labour) and its not even worth it.
"The passenger window doesn't work as that just clapped out one day.Now at this stage I've put twice the amount of money I initially paid for it back into it.
"Its a disaster of a car and its done nothing but diminish all hope of it working to its full potential (for me anyway).I need rid of this as I'm down to the last of my sanity & near a serious mental breakdown. It has always been serviced.
"I don't know if anyone will buy this heap of crap but I won't know until I try to sell it either as a whole car or for parts.
"I haven't washed it as I feel it doesn't deserve it.
"It is the bane of my life! I need a divorce from it or I'll end up in a mental institution from frustration and poverty.
"I dread bringing it to a mechanic as no sooner do I hand it in for one item, something else goes.
"NCT is up since Jan 2014 & its failed four times as I can't locate the wire for the water in the wipers.
"It did work before the gearbox went. It previously failed on inner tie rod ends & emissions (all perfect now).
"Its due to be tested for the 5th time in June. It won't pass over the steering rack that I'm not fixing."
Now..who will buy this car after reading all these.. Atleast she is honest!
