LAUTECH Emerged 2nd Best Nigeria University In Mathematics Competiton

The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso(LAUTECH) has emerged overall 2nd best university in just concluded NATIONAL MATHEMATICS COMPETITON FOR NIGERIA UNIVERSITY (NAMCUSS 2014).

Represented the institution at the event are
Tayo Akinlabi,
Austin Okolie,
Adigun Thomas and
Alabi Olayiwola
all from the department of Pure and Applied mathematics.

University of Ilorin emerged 1st with 3 gold medalist and 1 silver medalist.

Lautech had 1 gold medalist, 2 silver and 1 bronze. This year NAMCUSS made the 4th time LAUTECH Participated in the Competiton.
