The Super Eagles first choice goalie has
extended his clean slate to six games following
a brilliant outing against Lyon on Saturday
evening
Nigeria goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama was in
splendid form for his French Ligue 1n outfit
Lille at the weekend as they shared the points
with Olympic Lyonnais away at the Stade
Municipal de Gerland.
It was the former Maccabi Tel Aviv shot
stopper's eighth appearance in the French
league and he did not disappoint as he kept
the hosts at bay by denying them opportunities
to score on a night where Lyon produced little
going forward.
His biggest highlight of the night was his
fantastic safe off the boots of Bafétimbi Gomis
in the 86 minute to deny the hosts a shock
winner.
With this performance, the 1.82 metre tall net
minder has now remained unbeaten six times
in eight attempts this season conceding just
four goals and making eight saves and nine
blocks.
The last time he conceded a goal was against
Nice whice they lost 2-0 at home in a week 5
encounter.
Enyeama makes it six clean slates
