Asuu smiles with Government as strike ends soon (READ)

The coast now looks clear as Asuu will call off
strike very soon. the 2months old strike now
hits a melting point as the Leaders of the
union gives open arm to Government
"We are part of the system and we
understand the issues, we are meeting with
members of the union all the time and the
issues are being tackled. So, we are optimistic
the strike will soon be called off and our
children can go back to school in the shortest
possible time."
speaking with journalist on Wednesday, Prof.
Julius Okojie, the Executive Secretary of
National Universities Commission, NUC said
everything has been put in place andalll
necessary amendments to the issuethat has
led to the ongoing strike are being tackled.
he further stated "There is no country in the
world where regulatory bodies and
professional bodies go to regulate at the same
time.
he also said there is problem between the
Federal Government and ASUU but all will be
resolved soon and student can return to
school and continue with normal educational
activities as the Vice president in person of
Alhaji Namadi Sam,bo is on top the issue.
