Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola has
approved N35 million for the funeral of
Prophet Timothy Oluwole Obadare, founder of
the World Soul-winning Evangelical Mission
(WOSEM.)
In a statement, Commissioner for Finance,
Economic Planning and Budget Dr. Wale
Bolorunduro said the money was in
appreciation of the late preacher’s
contributions to the state, Nigeria and the
world.
He said the money was for the construction of
a mausoleum, the burial ceremony and
intervention work of the deceased, who died
on March 21.
Prophet Bolorunduro described the late
Obadare as a great spiritual icon, who made
the state proud.
He said the deceased promoted Osun
internationally during his missionary duties as
the General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic
Church (CAC).
The commissioner said the late Prophet
Obadare’s mausoleum would attract tourists to
the state.
The preacher’s remain will be buried on
Saturday at the WOSEM Theology Centre in
