Usher lent his voice to ONE’s agit8
campaign which raises awareness through
music and whose goal is bring an end to
extreme poverty.
Usher recorded his own take on on
Marvin Gaye’s classics Mercy, Mercy Me
and What’s Going to help inspire today’s
young activists.
Other artists who performed their take
on classic protest songs include
Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, Ed Sheeran,
Mumford & Sons and Kenny Chesney.
ONE was co-founded by Bono of U2.
